About Northline Heating & Cooling
Licensed, insured, and locally owned. We have kept the north Columbus metro comfortable for 17+ years.
Our Story
Northline Heating & Cooling started in 2008 with one truck and a simple idea: a homeowner should be able to trust the company that shows up when their system fails. Our founder had spent years working for larger outfits and watched too many calls turned into a sale the customer did not need. We built this company to do the opposite, where a fair diagnosis and a straight price come before the upsell.
We have stayed local on purpose. We work the same north-metro towns year after year, and most of our work comes from a neighbor's referral or a homeowner who got an honest answer from us once and called back. That reputation is the whole business, and we protect it on every visit.
What We Stand For
Responsive when it counts. When your system quits in peak season, you reach a person and we schedule you fast. The website and the answering machine do not fix your heat. We do.
Honesty over the sale. If a repair will do, we will tell you. If a system is done, we will show you the numbers so you can decide with the full picture.
The work you cannot see. Proper sizing, airflow, refrigerant charge, and safe combustion are where a system actually succeeds or fails. We do those right even though no one will ever notice them.
License, Insurance & Certifications
We carry state HVAC contractor licensing, general liability insurance, and workers' compensation for every technician. We are happy to show proof before any work begins, and we encourage you to ask any contractor for the same.

The Team
Our technicians are our own employees, not a rotating set of subcontractors. The person who diagnoses your system is trained, certified, and background-checked, and they answer for the work afterward. That continuity is why our labor warranty means something, and why customers ask for the same technician by name.
